Artist's Description
This painting is compelling enough to make me want to go outdoors and dip my toes in the creek. Everything about this painting is wonderful. From the woman seating on a tree, with mushrooms on it, to her wonderful dress and flowers, and the way the waterfall is frozen in time. Like a long pause, this is just a stop for a moment.
My fifth oil painting. Up until now, I've worked with Acrylic and Watercolor, so this one was a learning experience and I grew so much through it.
I'm so in love with Cottagecore Aesthetics, and this was painted from Instagram's @mlleflaa, who's feed is full of ramantic scenes and whimsical portraits.
