It was the perfect autumn day in the middle of November. The air was crisp, but the sun was warm. During a day full of family and fun, I saw this beautiful scene and decided to paint it. It started off as an acrylic, but after the first few brush strokes, I decided to switch to watercolor. As I began the watercolor, I instantly knew that this was the right choice. The result is a painting that reflects the day somewhere between fall and winter. It's both warm and cool. It is not only light, but dark as well. I'm very happy with the way this painting turned out and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
